Today the «RosPromEco-2013» agenda has included the international conference and three round tables. The main problems of improvement the Russian legislation in the field of waste management were discussed during the round table «Production and consumption waste issue: problems and solutions».
A dialogue between the Russian and foreign participants was based on an atmosphere of openness and it contributed to the deep analysis of the problems and perspectives of improvement in the field of the production’s waste treatment and consumption and develop solutions to reduce their negative environmental impact, as well as waste and secondary resources into the economic turnover.
«Public organizations' role in the formation of ecological thinking and culture»’s discussion highlighted once again the necessity to unite the specialized public organizations for promoting environmentally correct way of life in balance of natural resources’ consumption and restoration.
The suggestions and recommendations were worked out during the International conference «Oil waste processing and oil contaminated soil remediation: problems and solutions». These proposals professional and sectoral expert community are aimed at the practical implementation of the new law’s provisions on waste in the Russian Federation.
The question about introduction in the Russian Federation an effective economic instruments, in order to prevent and eliminate damage to the environment and biodiversity as a result of economic activities was in focus of speakers during the «Social and ecological business responsibility in order to reduce the environmental pollution risk and biological diversity loss»’s round table. Russian and foreign participants of the dialogue paid a great attention to the stimulating mechanisms for companies and organizations that use environmental management methods.
The second day of the Russian Industrial and Environmental Forum «RosPromEco-2013» in general showed a high interest among the participants to the «Russian environmental policy within the sustainable development aspect» as a main theme within the event.
