The round table «Ecological and environmental problems within the energy complex: elimination of oil slime and ash dumps, restoration of oil polluted lands, involvement of secondary resources into economic turnover and etc.» will be held in the framework of «RosPromEco-2014».
The energy sector of Russia's economy is oriented mainly on mineral extraction (and partly on their primary processing), as well as use of water resources. Extensive nature of the development of the energy sector leads to loss/ depletion of natural resources and technological pollution of the environment, but also creates a real threat to biodiversity.
At the present stage of development of the Russian energy sector in the field of environmental protection must be balanced the using of administrative and methods for regulating the economic activity.
In the framework of the «round table» a upgrading ways of normative-legal and financial support for environmental problems of the energy sector, the existing barriers to implementation of low-waste and resource-saving technologies, re-engaging the secondary material and energy resources in the economic turnover, advanced technologies on the elimination of oil slime and ash dumps, restoration of oil polluted lands will be considered.
Resolution created by the participants of the «round table», will contain the recommendations to the Russian authorities in particular to optimize the use of administrative and economic methods of regulating the economic activity in the energy sector, and as part the structuring of information and technical manuals on best available techniques for energy sector.
