The development of natural gas vehicle market (NGV) in Russia is a program of national significance. For the implementation of this large-scale task with the participation of the OJSC Gazprom was established a specialized company Gazprom Gazomotornoye Toplivo.
The environmental effect from the use of methane as a motor fuel is difficult to overestimate. The amount of harmful emissions during the combustion is significantly reducing, which is especially important for preventing air pollution in the cities of Russia. It is remarkable that the program for the widespread development of NGV transport started exactly in the year 2013, which was declared as the Year of Ecology.
The other day, the LLC Gazprom Gazomotornoye Toplivo officially confirmed the participation of its representative in the business program of the Russian Industrial and Environmental Forum “RosPromEco-2014”.
