Yesterday, on October 23, 2014, in Moscow, in the premises of the Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation was held the meeting of the Organizing Committee of the II Russian Industrial and Environmental Forum “RosPromEco-2014”.
The meeting was attended by the representatives of the Council of the Federation Committee for Agrarian and Food Policy and Environmental Management, the Department for Environmental Management and Protection of Moscow, the All-Russian Scientific Research Centre of Standardization, Information and Certification of Raw Materials, Materials and Substances (VNICSMV), Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP) on Ecology and Natural Resource Use, the Council under the Chairman of the Federation Council for Agro Industrial Complex and Environmental Management, the Institute for Regional Development Problems.
At the meeting was discussed the preparation process for the Forum and the draft program of activities, presented by the General Director of the Forum Churkin Nikolay Pavlovich. Approved the program and the topics of the activities of the Forum, the protocol for awards ceremony in the nomination: “The best environmentally responsible company in the Region in 2014” and the sketch of medals, determined the composition of Moderators and Speakers of the Forum.
The participants of the meeting drew attention to the potential and competitive advantages of the Forum, as an independent discussion platform, annually representing an actual expert opinion on the problems and prospects of environmental modernization of the Russian economy, and made a number of proposals for the program of the Forum “RosPromEco-2014”, which is scheduled to be held during December 7-9, 2015 in Moscow in the Merchant Court (Moscow Gostiny Dvor) with the support of the Council of the Federation Committee for Agrarian and Food Policy and the Government of Moscow.
