In the framework of the II Russian Industrial and Environmental Forum “RosPromEco-2014” will be held the panel discussion “Ecological modernization of wastewater infrastructure facilities”, in the framework of which will be considered the questions of improving the legal and regulatory framework in the field of water supply and sanitation; the problems of increasing the reliability of work of the water supply and sanitation systems and reducing the loss of water; the ways of improving the quality of drinking water; the strategy of reducing the negative impact on the environment and increasing the quality of wastewater treatment; the experience of introducing the best available technologies (BAT) in the field of wastewater treatment, the practical approaches to the implementation of these BAT in the Russian enterprises.
The panelists will also discuss the proposals for amendments to the Federal Law of 07.12.2011 nr. 416-FL “On water supply and sanitation”.
The discussion will be attended by the representatives of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation, the Federal Supervisory Natural Resources Management Service, the Russian Association of Water Supply and Sanitation, the Russian Union of Industrialist and Entrepreneurs, industrial enterprises and water utilities.
Following the results of the discussion will be prepared the resolution, containing the recommendations to the Russian authorities in the part of improvement the legal and regulatory framework and formation of the information and technical manuals on best available technologies in the field of sanitation.
