Within the III Russian Industrial and Environmental Forum RosPromEco-2015, chaired by the head of the Bureau on BAT, director of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise «The All Russian Scientific Research Institution» (FSUE VNII SMT) Dmitriy Scobelev, the««First stage of the phased schedule for creation of industrial best available technology reference books in 2015-2017 execution» round table took place.
Within the meeting participants discussed results of the first stage of information and technical reference books on best available technologies development in 2015, peculiarities of the process of transfer to BAT principles and implementation of modern technologies in the industrial sector and related arising issues.
Special attention of speakers was drawn to the forming of terminology within the development of information and technical reference books on best available technologies and also the possibility of priority consideration of domestic technology that correspond with the BAT notion.
Round table participants discussed the results of the following information and technical reference books: copper production; cellulose, timber mass, paper and cardboard production; ammonia, mineral fertilizer and non-organic acid production; ceramics production; wastewater cleaning with usage of centralized water disposal systems at settlements and city districts,thermal waste detoxification (waste burning);«Emissions of harmful (toxic) substance into atmospheric air within goods production and also work performance and provision of services at large enterprise».
Practical experience of applying the BAT principle at large enterprises, SUE «St. Petersburg Water Channel» and OJSC «Gazpromneft-MNPZ», had been examined.
